The NATIONAL BANK OF MONTPELIER is an independent, locally managed community bank, in it's 75th year of serving the financial needs of individuals, farmers, business and industries. Our financial services include traditional checking and savings accounts
and certificates of deposit with competitive rates of interest
and a choice of maturities. Many services are free and any
fees are low. We also offer no-fee Individual Retirement
Accounts (IRAs), either regular to provide a current tax
break, or Roth IRAs with tax advantages at time of
withdrawal after five years. MasterCard credit cards,
with an approved application, may be issued. Access
to accounts is provided for inquiry, transfers, and
loan payments 24/7 through our free NBM Telebanc service.
Internet banking is also available.
Loans are available for real estate, autos,
agricultural, industrial, commercial, and business
purposes. Our experienced loan officers review and approve loan
applications locally and provide answers to requests in record time.
